About Great Harvest Bread Co - Cary

At Great Harvest Bread Co., we’re dedicated to providing our community with warm, welcoming service and fresh, delicious baked goods each day. We purchase our premium whole wheat from family-owned farms, so we always know where every kernel comes from. We mill each sample of wheat into fresh-ground whole grain flour. Then, we begin measuring, mixing, weighing, kneading, and baking. Understanding the subtle nuances of wheat -- what great dough should feel like, how it should bake, and ultimately how it should taste -- is what distinguishes Great Harvest products from all the rest.

I come here at least once a week. This place has a large selection of baked goods. I always get the breakfast sandwiches and they’re always great! The lattes are also really good! Sometimes if you come at the right time they’ll have loaves of bread straight out the oven. They also always have sampled good for you to try! Definitely a good spot to come to.

An acquaintance shared his Great Harvest experience and how much he enjoyed the sandwiches. I popped in this afternoon after my midday appointment. I really enjoyed the Baja turkey sandwich on Dakota bread. This was very flavorful and every ingredient was so fresh and the sandwich is prepared and presented very nicely. My concern was the bread getting wet but it wasn't at all. I would have to agree with this being "the best sandwich on earth" as mentioned on Good Harvest website cafe menu. Baja Turkey is made with turkey breast with chipotle honey lime yogurt sauce, shaved cabbage, pickled red onions, avocado, and pepper jack cheese. I didn't get avocado and added bacon and WOW! What a sandwich this was. Every bite was bursting with excitement. Don't walk, run over there to get yours. You will not be disappointed. I can't wait to try Breakfast. Great Harvest is close proximity to areas I frequent and had never really noticed Great Harvest in all these years. I'm glad I have experienced what they have to offer. The service was pleasant. The staff were helpful. They offer all types of fresh baked goods and were also offering samples. I passed on the baked sweet goodies but I bet

Quite possibly the best bakery experience that I have ever had! There are many reasons why this place is my new favorite; the staff is kind and create the most delicious breads, muffins and cakes to name a few. The energy inside is great where you can listen to some classic 80s tunes while you munch the grindage [❀️ Pauly Shore reference for those who don't speak 80's]... Jenn is the owner and she is a brilliant baker who found the best way to source all natural ingredients locally while keeping the price in a perfect spot. No preservatives or un-pronounceable ingredients keep me very clean and clear feeling through my day. I've been coming daily and that's why I consider it the BEST! Feast your eyes upon my most delicious pixels of the grindage attached to the review!😌🫢🏽

Updating my review as we are now pretty regular visitors to this Great Harvest. It has become our go-to for a good, fresh lunch with good value. Their turkey sandwich on fresh baked bread is our usual. The staff is friendly and you always feel welcome. Indoor and outdoor seating is great. Fresh brewed tea is good. Great spot to grab a special treat or fresh bread item. Love the seasonal items, and to buy bread or treats for gifts. Helpful staff. My grandmother was missing an item made in an out-of-state Great Harvest and they literally got the recipe and started making it upon her request. So cool of them!
